La Boom Amenities

With all of today's home stereo and entertainment gadgets you're probably aware that the quality of what you experience from your components is only as good as their weakest links, and what you get out of them is to a certain degree dependent on your understanding of all of the various functions of the equipment. It would make sense then, that the same holds true for professional equipment.

La Boom wants to make sure that you get the best sound experience possible, which is why we are not satisfied with "run of the mill" D.J. gear. We use the latest professional equipment: top of the line CD players, mixers, equalizers, crossovers, cables, amplifiers, and speakers that come together to deliver a clean, rich sound. Our D.J.s are "Sound Fanatics" and have a thorough understanding of the equipment and its various functions. We provide an 18" subwoofer (venue contingent), along with true stereo image sound, so you can feel the music as well as hear it. We jokingly refer to it as feeling the "Boom".

Want lighting for your event? From special effects lighting to the good old disco ball, we have it... and we don't charge extra (most events). For the appropriate event, lighting can really enhance the overall musical and visual experience.

We also understand that some functions are more involved and require special attention or additional personal touches. For those special event needs we offer more than a great musical atmosphere: custom designed event posters, invitation cards and even your own personal event web page (with readily accessible information, directions, and corresponding pictures), allow you to add more personality to your unique event.
