Frequently Asked Questions

Here is a list of eleven frequently asked questions regarding our services. If you don't find the answer to your question(s) here, please call us or e-mail your question(s) to info@laboom.net and we'll do our best to get back to you with the corresponding answers.

1. How much will it cost to have a D.J.?
As probably expected, your cost will depend on certain variables. Providing us with certain information about your event allows us to give you an accurate quote. This can be done over the phone or by submitting a booking form in the Booking section of our website. Factors influencing cost are: type of event, size of event, additional equipment requirements, excessive travel distance, and certain event extras. Our fees are consistent from client to client and differ only in regards to the previously mentioned variables.

2. Who will D.J. my event?
It is important that you have the right D.J. for your special event. Our D.J.s are passionate about music and the atmosphere they help create with it. Based on information we gather from you, we will provide you with a D.J. who is professional and suited for your event. We will afford you every opportunity to meet with the D.J. before your event.

3. What type of music can I expect the D.J. to play?
Our D.J.s have thousands of song titles to choose from and have experience playing many different types of music for all kinds of events. Well before your event date, we will ask you to choose at least 15 songs from our music list that you would like to hear during your event. The D.J. will then play these songs along with others that are in accordance with your choices and are appropriate for the crowd and also fit the type of atmosphere you are trying to create. The D.J. can also play any music provided on CD that might not be found on our list.
